Bug reports

Open an issue. The bug template asks for version, macOS version, install method, and diagnostics.

Remove anything private before pasting. If the app will not open, include the exact Gatekeeper or crash text and whether you installed from DMG, the one-line installer, or Homebrew.

Security issues

Do not use a public issue. Use private vulnerability reporting. See thesecurity policy.

Common fixes

Gatekeeper blocks the first launch

Public builds are ad-hoc signed until Apple notarization is enabled. Right-click the app → Open, or use the one-line installer, which removes the quarantine flag. See the install docs.

A source shows an error or stale rows

Run remige doctor --json. If a package manager is missing, its source is skipped. If a network call failed, the previous cached rows are labeled stale instead of blanking the list.

The update list looks old

Press Refresh, or run remige list --json. remige cache clear removes the local snapshot and cached HTTP responses.

Homebrew-managed install

Use brew upgrade remige and brew upgrade --cask remige-app. Remige will not overwrite a Homebrew-owned CLI.
